Plot Summary

This film is adapted from a manga by Daisuke Igarashi, and an ordinary girl named Ichiko (played by Ai Hashimoto) grew up in the village of Komori in northeastern Japan. Here, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, it is like a peaceful and tranquil paradise. The villagers work from sunrise to sunset, relying on their diligent hands to manage a small but comfortable life, without competition with the world. Ichiko once went to Tokyo to explore, but she couldn't adapt to the fast-paced pace of the city and eventually returned to her old home where her mother was no longer there. When she was a child, her mother Fukuko used various ingredients from mountains, rivers, and fields to make randomly named delicacies. While the observant Ichiko lamented being deceived, she also left beautiful memories deep in her taste buds. As if following in her mother's footsteps, she infused her love for her hometown into the cooking of delicious food. Surrounded by friends Yuta (played by Takada Miura) and Yoshiko (played by Moyo Matsuoka), enjoying a carefree life... This film is adapted from a manga by Daisuke Igarashi.
