Plot Summary

In 1979, a mysterious biological skeleton occurred in Kunlun Mountain. Led by Hu Bayi (played by Zhao Youting), the expedition team went deep into the heart of Kunlun Mountain to search for more secrets about ancient biological relics. However, they were unexpectedly attacked by different mysterious creatures in turn during the process and accidentally fell into a nine story demon tower. Except for Hu Bayi, the fate of the group became a mystery. After retiring from the military, Hu Bayi returned to Beijing and reunited with Fa Xiaowang Kaixuan (played by Feng Li). He embarked on a new journey to explore an unknown civilization amidst the forces of a mysterious person (played by Li Chen) and a scientific expedition team (played by Feng Xiaoyue, Tang Yan, and Li Guangjie). Along the way, he met Shirley Yang (played by Yao Chen), whose familiar face awakened his memories of the days when he was on the expedition team. This trip was dangerous, and before he could figure out Shirley's true identity, Hu Bayi Shirley、 Wang Pangzi and his team were bombed by unknown creatures in places such as the Prince's Tomb and the Oil Town. Everything that happened here once again points to the Nine Layer Demon Tower, and this time, what awaits them will be an unsolved mystery that has been sealed for thousands of years
