Description

Plot Summary

The GOOD TAKE, consisting of five unit stories, is an innovative work by the new generation of Hong Kong film directors, including director Tsang Kwok cheung's "Cement". It tells the story of police officer 9413 (Chow Pak ho) who goes to the reporting location to investigate a case, only leaving the phone ringing but not the person, which is chilling; Director Huang Zhiheng's "The Wedding Banquet" tells the story of a child who follows his father (played by Zhang Zhaohui) to his mother's wedding banquet, with both childlike innocence and adult helplessness in his heart; Director Huang Jin's "Good Take" pays tribute to veteran film professionals through the life of licorice actor Taylor (played by Lu Haipeng); Director Yang Longcheng's "Not necessarily" reconstructs violent and bloody scenes with contrasting colors and style; Director Huang Jingfu's "Scaring Ghosts", Charlene (played by Joey Yung) challenges a one night tour of a haunted house and meets Chinese zombies, long haired Sadako, and braided girls. The process is both shocking and hilarious! Each of the five stories has its own unique style and flavor!
