Description
Plot Summary
This is based on a true story. During the Boer War, Captain Morant and several of his friends served in the British Army in South Africa. During an operation to encircle the Boer guerrillas, Captain Hunter was injured and brutally killed by the Boer people. Morant then pursued the guerrillas on orders from his superiors and shot all the prisoners, triggering a series of retaliation and revenge. In the final stage of the war, the leadership of both sides pushed Morant and his friends out as scapegoats to shirk responsibility for the war.
