Plot Summary

The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by French author Colette. The British style visuals deeply capture my heart. The actors are clean and beautiful, the visuals are elegant, the emotional communication between the two is portrayed in detail, and the director handles it very cleverly! Charlotte (played by Kathy Bates) and Michelle Pfeiffer (played by Michelle Pfeiffer) have been old friends and best friends for many years.
