Description
Plot Summary
Dead Land "is a romantic film directed by Toya Fraser, starring James Rolaston, Lawrence Makoare, and others. The story takes place before the colonization of New Zealand or can be referred to as the Maori period. The tribe was brutally slaughtered for being betrayed, and the chief's teenage son Hongi was determined to avenge his father so that he could bring peace to the souls of the loved ones he lost. In order to deal with the cruel raiders who still linger nearby and far outnumber them, Hongi has only one wish: he must enter the forbidden "Land of Death" and seek the help of a mysterious "warrior" who, according to legend, will reside here. The assassin sent by the enemy is still pursuing his whereabouts, and Hongi must face numerous tests of violence, revenge, leadership, and social respect at this critical moment of life and death
