Plot Summary

Police officer Huang Wei (played by Tony Leung Ka fai) is seconded to investigate a case involving police officers committing crimes. In order to collect evidence, Huang Wei narrowly escaped imprisonment. The prison under the warden of Huoshao Island (played by Ke Junxiong) is filled with violence, injustice, and institutionalized prisoner fighting. Huang Wei quickly met his roommate Xiao Zhu (played by Tuo Zonghua) and Liu Shijie (played by Sammo Hung), who had escaped from prison multiple times due to missing his son, while in prison. He also experienced the imprisonment baptism of gang member Da Lin (played by Gao Jie). Billiards player Da Zhong (played by Cheng Long) is imprisoned for accidentally killing the younger brother of gang leader Gang Zhu (played by Andy Lau). Da Lin is tasked with seeking revenge against Da Zhong, and the matter is mediated by his imprisoned elder brother Gui Da Da (played by Wang Yu). Huang Wei, Da Hammer, and four others were recruited by the warden to join the "Qingfeng Team". During the execution of the assassination mission, Huang Wei unexpectedly discovered the true culprit behind the scenes whom he had been investigating for a long time.
