Description
Plot Summary
In the bustling capital of Tokyo, men and women lead multiple lives. Lingzi (played by Sayaka Suzuki) has a completely different identity throughout the day. During the day, she is an actress in a small theater troupe, striving to improve her acting career; At night, she transforms into the queen of Shibuya, witnessing men who are usually well-dressed but have various hidden desires. Ayumi (played by Riko Kataoka)'s boyfriend, Xiao Jian, is a college entrance examination repeater. In order to support her boyfriend, she secretly works hard to earn money with her body, hoping to one day marry Xiao Jian. The story of two girls unfolds quietly in this bustling metropolis... This film won the Best Actress Award at the 1995 Blue Ribbon Awards (Sayaka Suzuki), the Best Actress Award at the 1995 Japan Film Academy Awards, the Best Actress Award at the Daily News Awards in 1995, and the Best Newcomer Award at the 1996 Yokohama Film Festival (Sayaka Suzuki and Riko Kataoka).
