Plot Summary

During the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, a plague was prevalent in the capital, causing significant damage to both the military and civilians. The emperor appointed Hong Taiwei to go to Longhu Mountain in Xinzhou, Jiangxi, and invited Zhang Tianshi to exorcise evil spirits. Captain Hong searched for the Heavenly Master but was nowhere to be found. However, due to his stubbornness, he went to suppress one hundred demons and eight demons in the Shangqing Palace. Decades have passed in the blink of an eye, and it was during the reign of Emperor Zhezong. Po Zhai Gaochou (played by Wei Zongwan) won the favor of King Duan with his unique and lascivious skills, and immediately rose to fame. When King Duan succeeded to the throne as Emperor Huizong, Gao Qiu became even more arrogant.
