Plot Summary

Five years of pursuit turned into a bubble, and with the closure of the X-Files, Fox Mulder (played by David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (played by Gillian Anderson) were forced to be transferred to handle some ordinary cases. One day, an explosion occurred in Dallas, Texas, USA. Although Mude and Scoli tried their best to evacuate the crowd inside the office building, the explosion still claimed the lives of four innocent people, and they were criticized by their superiors for it. However, shortly afterwards, Mude learned that the four victims had already died before the explosion, and the so-called explosion was just a scam carried out by a mysterious department to cover up evidence. The department is said to have been engaged in research on aliens for many years, and their research is enough to lead to the destruction of humanity. The two partners decide to investigate the matter thoroughly, but a mysterious and irresistible force is constantly obstructing their pursuit of the truth... This film is the first theatrical adaptation of the eponymous American TV series.
