Plot Summary

In April 1942, during World War II, German warships adopted the "wolf pack" tactic in the Atlantic, causing heavy losses to the Allied forces. Captain Taylor (played by Matthew McConaughey) of the United States Navy was promised a promotion to captain due to his outstanding performance in resisting the enemy, but he was unable to do so due to unforeseen circumstances.
