Description
Plot Summary
Liu Cheng (played by Feng Delun), who runs a pharmacy at home, plans to develop his business in the city with a group of villagers. Business was thriving, but an inexplicable fire caused all his brothers to lose their lives, leaving Liu Cheng penniless and imprisoned. The real culprit is actually his assistant Peng Si (played by Huang Haoran), who would do anything for money. The relatives of the prison police officers were once generously treated with drugs by Liu Cheng, so they invited young lawyer Lan Xiaoqian (played by Zhong Xintong) to help Liu Cheng clear his name. Unfortunately, Peng Si used money to build relationships and was determined to put Liu Cheng to death. Lan Xiaoqian bribed the executioner, hoping to release Liu Cheng during the execution. Liu Cheng returned to his hometown and found that his ancestral home had been destroyed, and his wife and daughter were living an inhumane life. Later, Liu Cheng was intimidated by what had already happened to him.
