Plot Summary

During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, there was constant turmoil and strife. The late emperor passed away mysteriously, and Emperor Li (played by Ge You) usurped the throne, taking over his beautiful empress (played by Zhang Ziyi) as his own.
