Description
Plot Summary
Due to his wife's infidelity, Ted (Anthony Hopkins) calmly shoots her, and his perfect murder plan begins. When the police arrived at the scene upon receiving the report, Officer Rob discovered that Ted's wife was his lover Jennifer. Jennifer, who was seriously injured but not yet dead, became a vegetative state, and surprisingly, Ted readily admitted his guilt. Young prosecuting lawyer Willie (played by Ryan Gosling) thinks this case is very easy to win and hopes to use it to enter the economic court and show off in front of his girlfriend. However, the incident was not so straightforward. The cunning Ted gave up using a defense lawyer and personally responded to the lawsuit. Although everyone knew Ted had committed a crime, he managed to escape legal sanctions due to his "perfect" performance in court and full utilization of the system's formal fairness and reasonableness! If Willie wants to bring the prisoner to justice, he must catch every loophole.
