Description

Plot Summary

In the first half of the 20th century, the shadow of war loomed over the world, lingering for a long time. The value of life is gradually decreasing, and sentient beings are forced to become victims and experimental subjects of interest groups. In a corner of East Asia, Japan continued to grow after the Meiji Restoration, and its ambition for outward expansion also continued to expand. The victories in several wars against Russia have made this nation even more fanatical. However, as the scale of the war expanded, resource scarcity became the primary obstacle limiting the continued expansion of the Japanese army. Scientists from Germany, the Soviet Union, and other countries continued to develop biochemical weapons. Army Lieutenant General Shiro Ishii took action and proposed the establishment of a biochemical unit, which later became the infamous Manchurian Unit 731. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, this demonic army conducted countless inhumane experiments on prisoners of war and local people. To this day, the wail of ghosts still echoes in the sky over Manchuria for a long time... This film is produced using plot and documentary techniques, and the material comes from Anatoliy Protasov, a former Soviet military translator. Prior to its release, the film was under investigation by the Russian Federal Security Service.
