Plot Summary

The film tells the life of legendary Brazilian driver Elton Senna. Formula One driver Saina participated in 161 Grand Prix races, 41 championships, 65 first place finishes, and three annual Formula One Grand Prix championships during his career. With his bravery and wisdom, Mercedes Benz achieved extraordinary results on the track for 10 years, becoming the best racing driver in the contemporary world and known as the "Prince of Racing"... Unfortunately, he died in a car crash on May 1, 1994, at the Imola circuit in San Marino at the age of 34. On March 21, 1960, Senna was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His father is an entrepreneur with millions of assets who runs a car parts factory. When Senna was 4 years old, his father specially customized a one horsepower lightweight racing car for him. Xiaosena seems to have a natural preference for cars. At the age of 7, he dared to drive his father's sedan alone on the street. When Senna was 10 years old, his father gave him a real small racing car, and from then on, he became obsessed with racing. In his essay, he wrote, "In the future, I must become a Formula One driver." In 1973, at the age of 13, Senna participated in a small car race held in his hometown for the first time and won his first race. Since then, he has won numerous victories and won the South American championship at the age of 17. Afterwards, he won the Brazilian national championship and South American championship in small car racing multiple times. However, Senna is not satisfied, his wish is to challenge world-class drivers. In 1981, Senna arrived in the holy land of motorsports - Europe, and began participating in Formula One races. Soon after, Senna won the Ford Formula 1600 and Ford Formula 2000 championships, making a name for herself in the racing industry. In 1983, Senna focused all her efforts on competing in Formula Three and won the All England Championship. In just three years from 1981 to 1983, Senna won 44 races, causing a sensation in the entire racing industry and creating the "Senna phenomenon". In 1984, at the age of 24, Senna began his career in Formula One racing. Senna is not only an excellent driver in sunny days, but also can compete bravely on the track with his superhuman courage and skillful skills even under the harsh conditions of rolling clouds and rainstorm. In the history of professional drivers at Senna, there are many outstanding records of winning in the rain, and his first Formula One championship was created in the rain. On April 22, 1985, at the Estoril circuit of the Portuguese Grand Prix, continuous heavy rain made the already dangerous race even more difficult, and the drivers faced severe challenges. French driver Prost's car stalled in place, and Brazilian famous driver Piquet's car also withdrew from the race track. However, the brave Senna calmly drove the racing car through the rain and finally won the championship with an absolute advantage of 1 minute and 30 seconds ahead of second place. This is Senna's first victory in Formula One, and as a result, Senna is also known as' Senna in the Rain '. The late 1980s and early 1990s were the glorious period of Senna's racing career, where he almost always ranked first in each race and was almost always the first to sprint; He won the annual Formula One championship three times, and various famous teams used all their tricks to compete for Senna. He became the driver with the highest annual salary. Senna has almost become synonymous with sports events, and the name Senna is well-known in Brazil, South America, and Europe. In 1993, Senna made a name for herself in her hometown of Sao Paulo. During the competition, heavy rain poured down, and the racers were all afraid to move forward. Only Senna bravely moved forward, her skilled driving skills won the cheers of thousands of admirers one after another, and the entire arena was filled with excitement for Senna. In October 1993, Senna reached an agreement with the Williams team for a validity period of 2 years and an annual salary of $15 million. The world's best racing car paired with the best driver, the press believes this is the most perfect combination in the history of Formula One racing. Senna had gathered the courage to drive the Williams car and won the championship for the fourth time in 1994. However, as soon as the 1994 season began, Senna's luck was not good. In the first race held at the Sao Paulo Lake Circuit in his hometown, Senna was eager to win and stepped on the gas pedal too hard when entering the corner, causing the car to slip and stall. In the second race held in Japan, just as they were running together, Senna's Williams car was hit at the rear by Finnish athlete Mika Hakkinen's car and forced to withdraw from the race. Due to the defeats in the first two races, Senna went all out to prepare and was determined to win the third race. On May 1st, the third race began at the Imola circuit in Italy, and Senna still ranked first. When the car reached the 7th lap, tragedy occurred. It was only on the Tanbrero bend that Senna's No. 2 car collided with a concrete protective wall at a speed of about 300km/h. Senna's death shocked the world, and many countries' news media reported extensively. In Brazil, Senna is not just a super driver, he is also a symbol of the country and a source of national pride. The president personally presided over his state funeral.
