Plot Summary

In 1963, people had just experienced three years of "natural disasters" and their thirst for food was unparalleled. In a steel plant in a northern city, the new factory director Liu Feng was rewarded by the headquarters for exceeding the task with effective leadership - a pig. This made all the staff very excited. Chef Cui Dake (played by Li Mengnan) pulled back the pig, and everyone was looking forward to eating pork to satisfy their cravings.
