Plot Summary

This film is adapted from a true story. Mortimer (played by Hugh Dancy), a young doctor who embraces the concept of saving lives, has been fired several times due to conflicts with the management philosophy of many hospitals. During the process of searching for a job, I found the clinic of Dr. Dallinshan. This is a place that specializes in serving women and treating diseases known as "hysteria". Mortimer learned finger massage techniques here and also met the doctor's two daughters with vastly different personalities. Sister Charlotte (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal) is a feminist who runs a shelter; And her younger sister Emily (played by Felicity Jones) is a noblewoman.
