Plot Summary

Anatolia, located in the southwest of Asia, is a rugged mountainous area far from towns, with a peaceful and oppressive atmosphere. At dusk, three cars drove from the other end of the mountain road and finally stopped by a fountain on the roadside. The person in the car walked down, seeming to be identifying something. There was a recent murder case where the suspect buried the body in a corner of the wilderness. After being arrested, the suspect searched for the location of the body with local police, forensic experts, prosecutors from the main town, and other individuals of different identities. The prisoner vaguely remembers several iconic objects, but cannot determine where the real hiding place is. These people run around the valley all night, chatting casually when bored, sharing their secrets and dissatisfaction with the current situation. The long night seems endless... This film won the Jury Prize at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, Best Director at the 2012 Dublin International Film Festival, Best Cinematography, Best Director, and Jury Prize at the 2011 Asia Pacific Film Festival.
