Plot Summary

NASA discovered a terrestrial planet outside the solar system in 2005 and determined that intelligent life may exist on it. In order to establish contact with extraterrestrial intelligence, NASA has launched the "Lighthouse Program" and deployed a deep space communication array base in Hawaii to emit high-power signals for exploration. A few years later, an alien spacecraft unexpectedly arrived. The Pacific Joint Naval Exercise Fleet stationed in Hawaii was ordered to make contact. The missile destroyer and two other warships led by the male protagonist, Navy Lieutenant Alex (played by Taylor Kitsch), are used as a reconnaissance team tasked with contacting alien ships. But as a result, they were attacked and suffered heavy losses. Due to the shield deployed by alien ships, other ships of the joint fleet are unable to provide support and can only rely on themselves to sustain themselves. Finally, all three modern ships were destroyed. Due to the unavailability of ships and the need to destroy communication stations occupied by aliens, the Missouri battleship, which had been converted into a maritime museum, could only be used for the final attack. Who can win the battle between the ace battleships of World War II and the high-tech alien ships? What is the fate of the Earth?
