Plot Summary

In the not too distant future, alien dragonflies from extraterrestrial systems will invade Earth, causing over ten million deaths. In times of crisis, the brave captain Rickham blocked the aggressor's expansion. Using this limited and precious time, Earthlings are dedicated to searching for highly talented teenagers to train and cultivate, with the hope that they can become leaders in defeating extraterrestrial invaders. Andrew Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), who is small in stature and has a melancholic expression but an incredibly determined gaze, is one of these young men. He is also a target of high expectations and key training for the International Fleet. After several rounds of rigorous evaluation, Ande's potential was recognized by Colonel Graf (played by Harrison Ford), the commander of the combat school. He was taken by the colonel to the combat school located on the orbital space station, where the future hero underwent a new round of training in a fully enclosed environment...
