Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in the 1960s in the United States, where Lewin (played by Oscar Isaac) is an unknown folk singer who lives a difficult life. He is homeless and does not have a fixed job. He relies on friends' help every night to find a place to live. However, despite being in a difficult situation, the stubborn Leven was unwilling to make helpless changes in accordance with the public's preferences. As a result, his relationship with his long-time friends Jane (Carey Mulligan) and Jim (Justin Timberlake) also plummeted to freezing point. What made Leven even more annoyed was that Jane was pregnant with her own child. Afterwards, Lewin went to Chicago in an attempt to find a job, but was rejected after an interview. With nothing left, he returned to Greenwich Village and continued to work at the small pub where he used to work part-time. Familiar scenes, familiar music, familiar atmosphere, Levenne has experienced a lot, but it seems like nothing has happened.
