Description
Plot Summary
Sheriff Ray Owens (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger), who used to work for the Los Angeles Drug Enforcement Unit, is dedicated to maintaining law and order in the peaceful town of Shanmerton, Arizona. On this day, several unwelcome guests visited the town, and one farmer was murdered. Meanwhile, on the other side of Las Vegas, FBI agent John Bannister (Forest Whitaker) is escorting notorious drug lord Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega). Unexpectedly, Cortez was rescued halfway, and he himself fled at high speed in a modified sports car after hijacking a female detective, approaching Shanmerton on the Mexican border at night. The peaceful life of the small town has been completely shattered, and Sheriff Owens is about to experience a chaotic day filled with gunfire and slaughter
