Plot Summary

Peabody (voiced by Ty Burrell) is a unique little dog with unparalleled intelligence, destined to have a "dog born" distinct from its peers. It holds a Harvard degree, has successfully developed new energy, resolved geopolitical issues, and even founded its own company. By chance, Peabody adopted a human orphan named Sherman (voiced by Max Charles) who had a similar experience to him. Like a loving father, Peabody carefully educated his son and used his developed time machine to take Sherman back to every important moment in the future, experiencing the boring historical events in books firsthand. In the blink of an eye, Sherman has reached the age of school. His rich knowledge of history has been praised by his teachers, but it has also attracted jealousy and bullying from the proud little girl Penny Peterson (voiced by Ariel Winter). The conflict between Sherman and Penny has put Peabody in an unprecedented difficult situation. In order to maintain custody of Sherman, it tries its best to please Penny's parents and relevant agency leaders. And on that night, Sherman and Penny secretly boarded a time machine and embarked on a thrilling adventure in time and space
