Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place 20 years after the Battle of Shipwreck Bay in Pirates of the Caribbean: World's End. Boy Henry (played by Brenton Thwaites) sets sail with the British Navy to search for his cursed father, "Deep Sea Yama" Will Turner (played by Orlando Bloom), but encounters the unsealed undead Captain Salazar (played by Javier Bardem) in the Bermuda Triangle. Salazar, who gained his freedom, slaughtered all the Caribbean pirates and conquered the entire sea. He then killed the Caspian Sea pirate king Hector Barbossa (played by Geoffrey Rush), who was known as "Blackbeard" Edward Teach (played by Ian McShane). Through the words of the witch Haifaa Meni (played by Gershfi Farahani Golshifteh Farahani), Salazar learned of his true purpose: to search for his archenemy, Captain Jack (played by Johnny Depp). The fate of pirates rests on the Black Pearl, sealed by the fallen old Jack, and the ancient trident spoken of by astronomer Karina Smith (Kaya Scodelario).
