Plot Summary
This drama is adapted from the first installment of Bernard Cornwell's "Warlord Chronicles" trilogy, "The Winter King". The Winter King is positioned as a revisionist adaptation of the legend of King Arthur, telling the story of Arthur Pendragon growing from an abandoned man to a legendary warrior and leader. The story is set in the 5th century, before the unification of England, in a land filled with hostile factions and tribes. At that time, the world was extremely cruel, and life often passed in a flash.
