Description

Plot Summary

The gangster killer "Ghost Dog" (Forest Whitaker, Forrest Whitaker) living in New Jersey, who is African American, is immersed in the spiritual world of Japanese bushido, with "loyalty and righteousness" as his highest creed throughout his life. He lives in seclusion, does not speak or laugh, and communicates with his boss through pigeon messages on a daily basis. Guigou regards his boss Louis (played by John Tormey) as his biological father, never giving up on orders, picking up knives and splashing blood in all directions. Lonely as he is, he also has friends to confide in. In his spare time, he chats with African Americans who buy ice cream in the park and speak French, each speaking their own words, which are also interesting; Or exchange insights on reading "Rashomon" with a little girl who loves reading books. Ghosts and dogs live in their own world, but significant changes have occurred around them. Finally, one day, he was abandoned by Louis and became a victim of gang strife
