Description
Plot Summary
After thirty years of long-distance marriage, there has long been no passion between Kay (Meryl Streep) and Arnold (Tommy Lee Jones). For Kai, who is naturally romantic, on the one hand, she understands that the disappearance of emotions is inevitable, but on the other hand, facing her cold and reserved husband, she feels unbearable. At this moment, the appearance of Dr. Field (played by Steve Carell) gives Kai new hope. Dr. Field is a marriage counselor who specializes in treating difficult and complicated issues in marital life. With his advice, Kai convinced the stubborn and conservative Arnold to embark on a week-long hot spring journey with the sole purpose of rescuing their precarious marriage. More importantly, the success of this journey will directly affect whether Kai and Arnold's relationship will start over or end completely.
