Plot Summary

Oshima Nagisa's "Cruel Story of Youth" is known as the pioneering work of Japanese New Wave cinema. Makoto (played by Miyuki Sano) is a rebellious high school girl who narrowly escaped being sexually assaulted by a car owner while hitchhiking. Fortunately, she was rescued by a passing Fujii Kiyoshi (played by Yusuke Kawazu). The next day, the two of them met again and agreed to go to the water to play, but Aqing treated Zhenqin roughly and attempted to rape her. Afterwards, Zhenqin did not vent her anger on Aqing and even left his contact information. However, Aqing has not contacted Zhenqin for a long time because he is having an affair with a married woman. Sad Zhenqin was drinking in a bar to drown her sorrows, but was harassed by several thugs. Aqing rushed to save Zhenqin, so the two reconciled again and decided to live together.
