Description
Plot Summary
After a coal miner named Yuzuru Takakura accidentally killed a troublemaker, he was sentenced to prison. While in prison, he missed his wife Hikari (who was greatly appreciated), but was afraid of delaying her life and future. He took the initiative to divorce and sincerely advised her to remarry. Before being released from prison, Yongzuo wrote a letter to Guangzhi, saying that if she had not yet married someone else and was still waiting for his return, she would hang a yellow handkerchief on the flagpole in front of her house. If he couldn't see the yellow handkerchief, he would leave for a distant place. On his way back home, the worried Yusaku met a young couple (Takeda Tetsuya and Kaoru Momoi) who were traveling by car. They traveled around some places in their car, and then he gathered the courage to return to his hometown.
