Plot Summary

This film presents the life of the genius Mozart from the perspective of a court musician named Salieri. Salieri (played by F. Murray Abraham) is a famous figure in the Viennese music industry. With a high regard for himself, ever since he met Mozart (played by Tom Hulce), the flames of jealousy in his heart have been burning fiercely and cannot be extinguished. Mozart always manages to win the audience's admiration with his extraordinary musical works, and his operas such as "The Marriage of Figaro" have become timeless classics. Salieri's envy and jealousy towards Mozart had developed to an almost twisted state. He repeatedly sabotaged Mozart's career by intentionally shortening the performance period of operas, maliciously editing Mozart's works, and subjecting him to ruthless mental torture while he was suffering from the pain of losing his father. In the last few years of his life, Mozart, who was poor and weak, wrote his masterpiece "Requiem". The master passed away at the age of 35, leaving behind an immortal work.
