Plot Summary

In a small town in southern Italy, the quirky little boy Duo Duo (played by Savateli Casio) enjoys watching movies and even more so, watching projectionist Everett (played by Philip Novare) play movies. He and Everett become lifelong friends and find joy in their childhood through film. Kind hearted Everett held an outdoor movie to show more viewers, but the film caught fire. Duo Duo rescued Everda from the flames, but Everda went blind. Duo Duo became the only person in the town who could show movies, and he replaced Everett as the town's film projectionist. Duo Duo (played by Mark Leonetti) gradually grows up and falls in love with the banker's daughter Elena (played by Isadani Elie). The pure emotions of first love are as beautiful as heaven, but the oath of love between a young couple is cut off by Elena's father's obstruction. Toto goes to serve in the military, while Elena goes to college. Encouraged by Everett, the heartbroken Duo Duo left the small town to pursue his dreams in life... 30 years later, Everett passed away, and Duo Duo had already become a successful director. He returned to his hometown and saw the dilapidated Paradise Cinema, reminiscing about the past with deep sorrow. Duo Duo unexpectedly met Elena. After all the past, the truth was revealed. How did they face each other?
