Description
Plot Summary
Sihano (G é rard Depardieu) is wild and unrestrained by nature, with a kind heart. He silently admires his cousin Roxanne (Anne Brochet), but he was born with an ugly big nose. Even though he is talented, he dare not express his feelings to his cousin. After he fiercely mocked and defeated a wealthy man one night, Roxanne invited him to meet the next day. When Sihano was about to express his feelings after writing the love letter, Roxanne told him that she had fallen in love with the handsome new recruit Christie (Vincent Perez) and instructed Sihano, who was in the same army, to protect him. Christie also liked Roxanne, so Xihano put his admiration for Roxanne into writing and delivered it to Roxanne under the name Christie, cleverly arranging their marriage. Unexpectedly, the officer who had long harbored ill intentions towards Roxanne was furious at this scene and sent Christie to fight in Arras
