Description
Plot Summary
In 1960s Hong Kong, due to the absence of his birth mother during the upbringing of Ah Fei Xu Zai (Leslie Cheung), he elegantly compared himself to a "rootless bird" and behaved wildly towards every woman he met in his life. Ticket seller Su Lizhen (Maggie Cheung) and dancer Mimi (Carina Lau) had made him feel warm, but they could only be little lovers. To shake off the heaviness and powerlessness, Xu Zai abandoned everything and went to Southeast Asia to search for his birth mother. Having secretly fallen in love with Su Lizhen and witnessed the emotional changes between her and Xu Zai, Chao Zai (Liu Dehua), who was once a police officer and is now running a boat, met Xu Zai again in the Philippines. It was fate and destiny, and he participated in and witnessed the process of Ah Fei's fate being rewritten.
