Plot Summary

Wang Shuangli (played by Niu Zhenhua) is the acting director of a cultural center in a certain place. This director has been serving for several years and has been unable to be promoted, but there have been no other changes. Unexpectedly, one day, a new cultural director named Lao Ma (played by Lei Kesheng) arrived, which further distanced Wang Shuangli from the main director. Newhouse Elder Ma Yuan was a deputy township head, but Wang Shuangli thought he was a bumpkin and didn't think much of him. He took advantage of his familiarity with the interpersonal relationships in the cultural center and tried his best to solve problems for Old Ma.
