Plot Summary

Tom (played by David Strathairn) and Gail (played by Meryl Streep) have a strained relationship as a couple. In an effort to bridge the gap, they decide to embark on a rafting adventure with their son Roarke (played by Joseph Mazzello) and beloved dog - Gail once bravely drifted through the terrifying confluence of the three rivers, Iron Gloves. On the way, they met Wade (played by Kevin Bacon), Terry (played by John C. Reilly), and Frank. Wade's small tricks made Roarke admire him as a hero. However, Frank disappeared without reason halfway through, and suddenly Wade and Terry revealed their ferocious true faces - they were criminals who had robbed huge sums of money and were on the run. Wade used Tom and Roarke as hostages and threatened Gail to float them over Iron Gloves. Tom escaped from the tiger's mouth by chance and prepared to ambush downstream with his beloved dog. The brave Gail will challenge the Iron Gloves for the second time and save his son. Tom and Gail, who had been waiting downstream, joined forces not only to fight, but also to once again feel the love of sharing joys and sorrows.
