Description
Plot Summary
General Frank (played by Ed Harris) of the United States Marine Corps, dissatisfied with the government's compensation and benefits for veterans, fallen soldiers, and their families, led his troops to smuggle the latest biochemical weapon developed by the US military - the VX gas bomb - to Rock Island, kidnapped 81 tourists who were sightseeing on the island, and took control of the island. Threatening the US government to pay a ransom of 100 million yuan within 48 hours, otherwise the hostages will be killed and San Francisco will be attacked with gas bombs. Rock Island used to be the most heavily guarded prison in the United States, easy to defend but difficult to attack. The US government accidentally discovered from the archives that former British agent Mason (played by Sean Connery) had successfully escaped from the prison, so they invited Mason and demanded that he lead special forces to capture this "Devil's Island" within 30 hours
