Plot Summary

In spring, playful child monks hold stones and tie them to fish, frogs, and snakes, playing tricks on the little spirits. After the old monk (played by Wu Yongzhu) discovered it, he punished him with the same method and warned him not to act recklessly. In the summer, the 17-year-old monk (played by Kim Yong min) was tormented by the long days of meditation in the deep mountains. One day, a sick girl (played by He Lizhen) accompanied by her mother came to the temple to pray for peace and stay for recuperation. The young man began to succumb to the temptation brought by the attraction of the opposite sex... In autumn, the young man returned to the temple after killing someone outside and asked for forgiveness. The old monk ordered him to engrave the Heart Sutra, remove his sins, and at the same time, the police chasing the fugitive also rushed to the temple...
