Description
Plot Summary
Jessica (played by Kim Basinger), a high school science teacher, was kidnapped. Fortunately, an old-fashioned dial-up phone was placed in the place where the criminals imprisoned her. In her panic, Jessica dialed a random number for help, and her distress call went to the phone of young man Ryan (Chris Evans). At first, Ryan thought it was a prank, but later the criminal discovered that Jessica was seeking help and smashed the phone. Upon hearing the thug's roar and Jessica's exclamation, Ryan realized the seriousness of the situation. Jessica used her natural science knowledge to reassemble the phone after the criminal left and reconnected with Ryan. Through her account, Ryan learned that the criminals would soon harm her husband and son, and Jessica didn't even know where she was. There is not much time left for Ryan, let alone his phone's limited battery. Ryan must make every effort to save the lives of Jessica's family.
