Description
Plot Summary
On July 4th of a certain year, over the weekend, John McCarran (played by Bruce Willis), who was on vacation, received a new task: to arrest hacker Matt Farrell (played by Justin Long) and send him to the FBI for interrogation. In fact, things are not as simple as they seem: after careful planning, extremist terrorists are preparing to use hacking techniques to collectively disable computer systems across the United States on Independence Day, in order to achieve their conspiracy to control the world. Moreover, behind the scenes mastermind Thomas Gabriel (played by Timothy Oriphant) prepared a plethora of obstacles to prevent McCarran from getting involved in this matter, including kidnapping his daughter Lucy. The old hero encountered a new problem, and with the help of Matt Farrell, McCarran continued to be "fierce"
