Description
Plot Summary
Their unique isolation has resulted in some of the most peculiar, astonishing, and unstable examples of survival that are not found elsewhere on Earth, from large crabs that tear off coconuts to carnivorous caterpillars that nail their prey on dagger like claws. Human civilization is equally different. The people on Pentecost Island leap from tall wooden scaffolding to celebrate their annual harvest, using only jungle vines to prevent falls.
