Description
Plot Summary
Jack Malby (played by Robert De Niro), who is cautious and respectful, works in a government department and his daily job is to review prisoners who are applying for parole. He has been doing this boring job year after year, and his relationship with his wife Madeline (played by Frances Conroy) is particularly cold. There is a thriving desire hidden in his heart, but he has to conceal it with a proper appearance. As Jack was about to retire, the arsonist George "Stone" Crissen (played by Edward Norton), who had been in prison for eight years, came to his desk. George hopes to get out of the big wall soon, so he tries to win Jack's trust with clever words and gestures, even resorting to seducing his beautiful wife Lusetta (played by Milla Jovovich) to seduce this seemingly serious gentleman. Jack's desire gradually spiraled out of control, and George, who attempted to package himself through religion, seemed to hear the gospel from God
