Plot Summary
The Vampire Diaries is adapted from the bestselling series of novels of the same name by American female author L.J. Smith. The character relationships in this season are even more complex, with various characters taking turns to appear. Katherine's return (played by Nina Dobrev) complicates the relationship between Elena (played by Nina Dobrev), Stefan (played by Paul Wesley), and Damen (played by Ian Somerhalder). Elena not only knew that her uncle John was her biological father, but also discovered that Alaric's long missing wife Isobel was actually her biological mother. Tyler also discovered the secret of his family - transforming into a werewolf on a full moon night. Elena, the veteran vampire that Katherine had been avoiding for hundreds of years, suddenly appeared, and everyone's goal was the mixed blood vampire Klaus. Klaus' ultimate goal is to kill Elena and obtain dual body blood. Everything will inevitably develop in a noisy direction .....
