Description

Plot Summary

17-year-old boy Walter Mike (played by Chace Crawford) dropped out of high school and left home to live alone after his mother's death. Mike, who was lonely and helpless, became a drug dealer in desperation. Due to his mother's premature death and his dangerous job, he deliberately kept a distance from everyone, including his childhood sweetheart Molly (played by Emma Roberts). Mike slowly began to interact with a variety of buyers, including wealthy children who lived a life of luxury and ease, from wealthy girls like Jessica (played by Emily Meade) and Sarah (played by Esti Ginzburg) who were preparing to enter college, to idle Beat Generation Chris (played by Rory Culkin) and Mark (played by Charlie Saxton). Drugs, sex, lies, murder, Mike gradually felt the danger behind this decadent life in the process of interacting with these young people. It was like a vortex, and as long as he was exposed to it, there would be no return. This low-cost, independently produced film 'Twelve' is adapted from Nick MacDonnell's novel of the same name. The film was first released at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received a good response and the producers decided to enter the North American market.
