Description
Plot Summary
On a calm night, a speeding car shattered the happy life of music professor John (played by William Mapother), and his wife, daughter, and beautiful life were taken away by the underage girl Rona (played by Brit Marling). This accident also dealt a huge blow to Rona's soul. The sense of guilt led her to live the lowest level of life, yet she could never escape the condemnation of her soul. By chance, she reunited with John and walked into his impoverished and hopeless life under the guise of a cleaner. After spending some time together, they gradually warmed each other's scarred hearts. At the same time, humans have discovered a planet that is extremely similar to Earth, and there seems to be another version of themselves living there. Is this hope or a beautiful dream? This film won the Special Jury Prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
