Plot Summary

Faced with the sudden invasion of aliens, the Earth's army is vulnerable, and the governments of various countries are collapsing. Six months later, only a small number of people on Earth survived in order to drive away aliens and rebuild their homes. These people are rising up in various forms of resistance. Tom Mason (played by Noah Wyle) was originally a history professor, but his family was devastated by an alien invasion.
