Description
Plot Summary
In order to help his father, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, return to a normal life, Will Roman (played by James Franco) has been dedicated to the development of a gene drug called "Cure" and constantly conducting drug trials on gorillas. While the company had lost confidence, Will continued to conduct experiments at home and achieved success on a gorilla named Caesar. With the help of primate scientist Caroline (played by Freida Pinto), Will discovered that Caesar's intelligence had greatly improved. However, human society has always been unable to accept Caesar, who possesses extremely high intelligence, and Caesar was sent to a chimpanzee care facility. The cruel treatment in the nursing home led Caesar to use his wisdom to resist and ultimately rescue the other chimpanzees who were also imprisoned, using Cure on them all. A war between a group of highly intelligent chimpanzees and humans has begun. This film was nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 84th Academy Awards.
