Description
Plot Summary
Larry Crow was directed and acted by Tom Hanks. After retiring from the navy, Larry (played by Tom Hanks) worked diligently in the sales department for over 20 years. He is kind and almost never loses his temper. He is a celebrity employee, liked by customers, and highly appreciated by his boss. But the layoff storm still caused him to lose his job. In his free time, he registered with the university in the local community and quickly formed good friends with people of all kinds. There are homeless people and children from slums, and everyone hopes to come here to improve their lives. In a public speaking class, Larry unexpectedly falls in love with his teacher Mercedes (played by Julia Roberts). But she is a married woman, and she has devoted all her energy to teaching, leaving no time for her students' admiration. Now, it seems that all the difficulties have fallen on Larry .....
