Plot Summary

The story tells of Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer Mitch Howler (played by Matthew McConaughey), nicknamed "Lincoln Lawyer", who deals with clients from the lower echelons of society. He has a clear distinction between good and evil, is honest and trustworthy, and is not a greedy person. However, this time, Howler's defense is aimed at the young and wealthy real estate developer Louis Rolette (played by Ryan Phillips). Lolette is accused of assaulting and attempting to rape the call girl Rachel (played by Margarita Levieva), but Lolette claims to be innocent as someone has framed him. Lolette's mother is willing to spare no expense to prove the innocence of her beloved son. In order to understand the details of the case, Howler and his personal investigator conducted an investigation into the case. The evidence they initially obtained proved that Lolette seemed innocent, and the case could be easily won, with Howler also able to easily obtain a high lawyer's fee. However, a chance encounter led Howler to discover that this case had many similarities with another rape and murder case he had previously handled
