Description

Plot Summary

34 year old Tetsuya Honno (played by Yoshihide Tokii) is an ordinary worker on a construction site. This seemingly submissive uncle, who is not even valued by his son at home, was actually a once dominant and tyrannical wanderer in his youth. Recalling the happy life of 17-year-old Hino and his good friends such as Hiroshi Yokota (played by Takashi Abe) racing and fighting in the "God Fork" of the yakuza tribe, the unexpected death of the younger brother of former chief Watanabe Mitsuru (played by Tatsuya Nakamura) led to a tragic drama that left a deep impression on them. The peaceful life suddenly stirred up waves, and the girlfriend of the son of Huo Ye, Zhou Ping (played by Lin Shudu), who is also the daughter of Yokota, Zhen Qin, was insulted by several thugs, forcing these ordinary old boys to rise up and seek revenge. Not long after, the participants of the tragedy, Ken Igarashi (played by Haruki Murakami), Ogata (played by Hirofumi Arai), and others, met again. They interpret the meanings of "Mo Ni" and "family" through their respective actions... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by Japanese manga artist Hiroshi Tanaka.
